Position Description:
Reporting to the VP of Marketing, this position will play a key part in the technical side of Marketing. The TPMM will be a core part of the company's communications hub from a technical perspective and will lead the product marketing initiatives such as competitive analysis, market research, content creation for technical positioning, customer requirements analysis and more.  

Job Responsibilities:

• Work closely with Marketing and Product Management by providing input into establishment of effective marketing and sales tools including demos, whitepapers, webinars, and 3rd party product listings.
• Assist in monitoring market trends and technology developments closely and help translate these into the overall product strategy across global markets Perform and maintain deep competitive and market research amongst software companies within the competitive landscape and market growth markets, such as digital media, gaming, mobile financial services, etc.
• Serve as the internal and external evangelist for the company's product offering, working with sales and key customers or prospects
• Facilitate day-to-day communication with cross-functional peers and highlight issues to management
• Provide internal product training at events and create product demos 

Desired Skills & Experience

• Around 5 to 7 years of industry experience in Product Management, Product Marketing, Engineering, Sales Engineering and/or Project Management
• B.S. Degree in software engineering or computer science
• Ability to travel 25-40% to support the needs of the business
• Fundamental understanding of information security concepts (encryption, symmetric and asymmetric keys, obfuscation, etc.)
• Experience with DRM Specs, Digital TV or PC Video Playback, software, security market
• Excellent and proven ability to create written technical communications/product collateral
• Highly efficient at multi-tasking and self motivated
• Timely, organized and able to meet multiple concurrent deadlines
• Ability to “listen” to customer expectations and the ability to meet and exceed those expectations through the product development life cycle
• Excellent written and oral communication skills, especially mobile technology
• Fast learner with new technologies and concepts
• Experience in a software / technology firm (ideally small to mid-sized)
• Experience with Office, Project, Visio and similar productivity products
• Fundamental understanding of compilers and programming languages/constructs useful
• Experience with system-level software and operating systems useful
• Fundamental understanding of other information security technologies/vulnerabilities/vendors useful
