PC GAMING ALLIANCE ANNOUNCES SECURITY BEST PRACTICES FOR GAMING WEBINAR
SAN RAMON, Calif., July 20, 2011 -- The PC Gaming Alliance (PCGA) announces the Security Best Practices for Gaming webinar, its second event in its ongoing Speaker Series. This webinar takes place at 10:00 AM PT on July 26th and is designed to bring the industry together to help elevate awareness around Piracy and Anti-Piracy measures as well as Account and Identity theft solutions.
The PCGA is hosting and facilitating this event by bringing together a distinguished lineup of speakers from Arxan, Capcom, EMA, Intel and Microsoft who will be discussing key Piracy and Account/Identity theft insights and solutions. The webinar agenda includes an overview of the Security Best Practices whitepaper. Following this will be an update on the important legislation in process that can have an immense impact on various aspects of the Gaming industry. Finally, three spot-lighted solutions will be discussed: Arxan’s code hardening solutions, Intel’s Identity Protection Technology, and Microsoft’s Server Side Authentication solution.
The speaker and contributor lineup includes Matt Ployhar, PCGA president, who will moderate and facilitate the discussion. Christian Svensson, Capcom vice president, will provide an overview of the PCGA’s Security Best Practices whitepaper.
