Microsemi Acquires Arxan Defense Systems from Arxan Technologies, Inc.

Microsemi, a semiconductor manufacturer of circuits and devices has acquired Arxan Defense Systems, a separately held subsidiary of Arxan Technologies, Inc.

This is an exciting milestone for Arxan, and one that will support and accelerate our growth in meeting the commercial application security needs of customers. 

We are very proud of our history and heritage in the area of tamper resistance for the Department of Defense, with products developed specifically for classified use.  And for over 3 years now, Arxan has been successfully securing applications in distributed and un-trusted environments in the commercial market.  Our product offerings have grown and expanded to address evolving software threats and platforms, such as mobile application attacks. 

Arxan’s continued investment in product R&D, customer support and engineering remains unchanged.  We continue to stay a step ahead of the hackers by developing and delivering new products and security innovations, such as the recently announced EnsureIT™ for Android, and continued enhancements to our GuardIT® product line for software publishers, digital media, gaming, and enterprise customers.
