First Impressions of Apperian

0Apperian. I had heard of it since the very beginning: from brainstorming names for the company, to listening in the car as my dad (Chuck Goldman, Chief Strategy Officer of Apperian Inc.) enthusiastically discussed the new concept of mobile development for big companies. However, I didn't fully appreciate Apperian until I met the brilliant developers that work together to bring to life ideas that will forever change enterprises' mobile strategies.

I recently began learning about App development and the programming required for these great Apps that the world has fallen in love with. Today, I tagged along and came into the office with my dad. When I met the people who worked at Apperian, I was surprised. Everyone was extraordinarily kind, helping me out when I had a problem, and even teaching me a bunch of things about programming applications. The office was a spacious, clean, and beautiful space. Enormous windows allowed light to stream in, while laughter and discussions filled the air. I constantly had the feeling I was among true professionals and ideal mentors. If I had a choice, I would definitely work in a place like Apperian. Everything felt organized, secure, and inspiring.

I was truly lucky to spend time with the employees of Apperian, and am eager to learn more about mobile development. Mobility is sure to be a vital aspect of enterprise management and everyday life of the mobile worker. To be able to understand that and help create that future would be a dream come true for me. Somebody with a lot more grey hair than I have recently told me that getting paid to do what I love to do is the key to life – that sounds good to me!
