Jeremy Debate, Architect at Apperian, goes over the reliance of mobile internet Connectivity. Developers must be prepared for their application to deal gracefully with slow or non-existent network connectivity. In addition, the application should be able to deal with captive networks, in places such as airports or a Starbuck's. Lastly, the application should be able to manage user information to avoid losing any personal saved data during an unexpected loss of network connectivity.
