Outlook for Web Access Hybrid App

With Apperian’s Hybrid App technology, enterprises can provide their full-time and contracted mobile workforce with secure access to Microsoft Outlook for Web (OWA). An OWA Hybrid App provides a familiar interface to users and gives IT administrators granular control and security over the app and confidential data. Additionally, app policies such as data encryption, copy-paste protection, remote data wipe, and app-level VPN may be simply applied through the Apperian Admin Console without requiring code modification or an SDK. Benefits
  • Single-click install of the OWA Hybrid App greatly simplifies installation for end users.
  • Data Loss Prevention: Apply policies that allow encryption of data at rest, data in flight, and data loss prevention by not allowing users to copy and paste email text from OWA into other apps.
  • Advanced Security & Management: Enable geo-fencing, remote data wipe, app expiration, multi-factor authentication, remote control, app self-updating and jailbreak detection.
  • Apperian’s app-level VPN applied to an OWA Hybrid App allows the MS Exchange email server to be moved from the DMZ into the secure area of the corporate network preventing direct attacks on the mail server infrastructure.
