Apperian announced today the opening of its new European operations in Paris and London, and the appointment of software industry veteran Jean-Pierre Nordman

Boston, MA, February 24, 2012 – Apperian ( today announced its entry into the European market, and the appointment of software industry veteran Jean-Pierre Nordman as Managing Director, EMEA. Today, more than 200,000 installed applications are deployed and securely managed by Apperian’s EASE (Enterprise App Service Environment) mobile application management (MAM) platform across tens of thousands of devices running on iOS, Android and Blackberry platforms. The company will bring that experience to European businesses to help them implement and/or accelerate their enterprise mobile application strategies. Recently, the company completed partner presentations with Europe’s leading resellers for enterprise deployments of greater than 1,000 mobile devices. Resellers have called Apperian’s EASE platform, “…simple to deploy, scale and manage, with a user experience that is far superior to Mobile Device Management.” As Managing Director, Jean-Pierre Nordman brings extensive experience to Apperian. Most recently he was Chairman of the Board of Mindscape, a publisher and distributor of educational and lifestyle games and software. Prior to that he was CEO of The Learning Company – Edusoft France, and Executive Vice President of Mattel Interactive, responsible for international operations. Nordman has held additional senior management positions and founded several software firms in Europe. “Businesses in Europe are quickly realizing the possibilities for smart phones and tablets to increase their employees’ productivity.
